The Manufacturing Process
Step 1: Precision Printing
Your approved design is screen, litho or digitally printed onto your selected base substrate using the latest high-resolution printing processes.
Step 2: Embossing & Die-Cutting
Where required some materials can be embossed to add a further physical 3D effect to your design. The profile of the badge is then precisely die-cut to shape and the waste material is removed from the substrate.
Step 3: Resin Application
A precisely controlled amount of polyurethane resin is poured onto the surface of the badge and cured to form a highly durable, flexible and glossy finish.
Step 4: Multi-Layered Construction
Each bespoke badge is formed of carefully constructed layers. This includes the high-performance adhesive layer, the base substrate, the vibrant printed design and the final protective resin coated finish.

What if I need a sharper edge profile?
While standard resin doming creates a smooth rounded edge, we also offer specialist flexi-coat badges and labels if a sharper profile to the cut edge is required.
