Diametric wins SME of the Year at 2018 Solent Business Awards

Diametric is delighted to announce that they have won SME of the Year at this year’s Solent Business Awards.

Diametric were announced as winners during the awards ceremony held at the Ageas Bowl on the 18th October. Of the six overall nominees in the category, judges were impressed with Diametric’s approach to putting its customers at the heart of the business.

Judges said: “Our winner this year displays all the characteristics of a successful SME. The business strives not only for growth but improvement in the products it makes through innovation whilst retaining the superior quality of its products synonymous with the brand. Customers remain at the forefront of all growth resulting in glowing testimonials as a direct result of their heavy investment in people as well as technology. They are also a significant contributor to the local community giving back to local people, business and institutions as well as consciously reducing their carbon footprint and the impact they have on the environment. With a passion for business and an ability to shape their future in the Solent region we are delighted to award SME of the Year 2018 to Diametric Technical.”

In its fourth year, the Solent Business Awards brings together some of the brightest and bold businesses from across the Solent region to celebrate their growth and achievements.

Diametric has had another successful year, exceeding 2018 sales targets. This growth has allowed the company to expand its staff and invest in new equipment and facilities at its Isle of Wight manufacturing plant. Initial plans are in place to expand the size of the manufacturing plant next year, with increased capacity to generate more jobs and develop its services.

Commitment to customer service, the local economy and sustainability remain top priorities as the company continues to grow and make an impact on the South Coast.
