CELEBRATING 40 YEARS of PRECISION BADGING

Innovation, inspiration and a bright outlook: Advanced Engineering 2016

After setting up at record-breaking speed, Diametric enjoyed a successful year at Advanced Engineering, the UK’s largest gathering of engineering, design and manufacturing professionals.

The trade show took place at the NEC Birmingham on the 2 and 3 November, with Diametric being one of 700 exhibiting suppliers and partners.

Graham Steele, Managing Director of Diametric reflected on their two days at the show. “It’s our fourth year at Advanced Engineering and we always come away feeling encouraged. The atmosphere was buzzing and our stand was really busy. In a year when there has been some uncertainty reported, both in the UK and across the world, it was heartening to see how positive everyone was about the future and how interested they were in our products.”

Diametric have worked with some of the world’s biggest brands, and were able to put some of their precision badges on display, not only reflecting their commitment to British manufacturing but also showcasing their innovative product design.

“ We got some fantastic feedback about the look and quality of our badges from both existing and potential customers, “ added Graham. “ The show is a really valuable opportunity for us to interact and engage, as well as tap into what’s going on in the industry as a whole. Being amongst other forward-thinking professionals really helps us to stay at the cutting edge.”

This year, Diametric also spoke to students attending the show about the company, the work they do and possible career paths after university. By sharing their expertise, Diametric are playing a key role in inspiring the next generation of product designers, engineers and manufacturers.

If you missed Diametric this time round, then don’t worry they’ll be back at Automechanika  from 6-8 June 2017
