CELEBRATING 40 YEARS of PRECISION BADGING

Hello & Goodbye

During 2022, we have welcomed five new faces to the Diametric team, at both our headquarters in Swanmore and manufacturing division on the Isle of Wight

Our Assembly and Inspection Department, situated at our Swanmore site, has two new team members this year.  Amanda joined us in January, followed by Steve in May. Both Amanda and Steve have settled in brilliantly and are working alongside Irina and Assembly Team Leader Debbie to ensure we continue to provide our customers with the high-quality standards they expect from Diametric.

The Artwork Studio, based at our Isle of Wight Manufacturing Division, has also seen some big changes this year. Ray, who has so far been our longest standing employee working with the company for 40 years, decided he was ready to put his feet up in August and took retirement from full-time employment.

In preparation for Ray’s departure, Ralph joined the studio in February as ‘Artworker and Digital Print Operative’ and has already been a huge asset. Ray worked closely with Ralph, leading up to his retirement, to ensure a smooth transition period. Another addition to the studio has been Alfie, who joined us in October as a ‘Trainee Artworker and Digital Print Operative’.

We also welcomed Olena to the Diametric family this year. In support of the government’s ‘Homes for Ukraine’ scheme, we created an employment opportunity for an individual who was offered accommodation on the island and were very pleased when Olena joined us in July.

Sadly, as well as Ray, we’ve also said farewell to Paul, Anso and Alicia who have all moved onto pastures new this year.  Paul left us at the end of January, after being part of our assembly and inspection team for over 8 years. Mid-way through the year, we also wished Anso well, as she said goodbye to account management and took the decision not to return from her maternity leave. And finally, Alicia moved on from her role in logistics and inspection in November, to take on an exciting new position elsewhere.  We wish them all the very best for the future.
