Five new starters for 2021!

We always approach welcoming new members to our well-established team as an opportunity to bring new ideas and varied experience to Diametric. This year has involved bringing five new members to our team, at both our headquarters in Swanmore and manufacturing division on the Isle of Wight.

Chris West was our first new appointment in February this year and works at our manufacturing plant in Newport. Chris has been a very welcome arrival to the team and is providing support in many areas of the production process across the plant to aid with customers’ requirements.

Another addition to the manufacturing team is Ben Lacey, who joined us in March, as part of the Governments Kickstarter Scheme. During his time with us, Ben has received training throughout many of our production departments, as well as CV writing & interview skills. We are pleased to announce that the scheme has been a success, and Ben has now secured full-time employment with Diametric. Well done, Ben!

To support Stace in her new role as Operations’ Manager, we also needed to recruit a replacement Logistics Co-ordinator at our Swanmore site. Mike Poyner started in the role in March and is responsible for managing our busy logistics department and overseeing the daily despatches. He also regularly liaises with our sales account managers to support with any changes to our clients’ scheduling needs.

More recently, we welcomed Agnes Kalauz to our sales team. Agnes came on board in August to support with administration, scheduling and supply chain management. She wasted no time in getting to grips with our management system, and procedures, and has quickly become a huge asset and crucial addition to the team.

HOT OFF THE PRESS! Our new Customer Account Manager, Chris Welch, joined us at the beginning of December. Chris will be based at Swanmore and has worked in account management for a number of years within the print industry. We are looking forward to working with him.
