Diametric expands portfolio to PPE

Like many manufacturing businesses throughout the UK, we’ve been busy diversifying our production line to assist the national call for PPE. Working closely with a long-standing client, we have been able to support with the manufacture of the newly designed CE approved protective face shields.

Knowing the final product needed to be durable, scratch resistant and susceptible to rigorous cleaning, we were quick to respond with a material that met the required specification.

Using our newly purchased, fully-automated profile cutter, we were able to react quickly to supply the first order within days. Both the material and process was utilised from our range of graphic overlays and reverse printed industrial nameplates. The initial success, volume and positive feedback, led us to donating over a 1000 face shields to local care homes, in a continued effort to give back to the local community, especially at such a critical time.
