What is Cyber Essentials

Cyber Essentials is an effective scheme that will help us protect our organisation against a whole range of the most common cyber attacks.

Cyber attacks come in many shapes and sizes, but the vast majority are very basic in nature, carried out by relatively unskilled individuals. They’re the digital equivalent of a thief trying your front door to see if it’s unlocked. CE is designed to prevent these attacks.

Diametric has recently gained the Government backed accreditation to ensure we have taken appropriate measures to safeguard us and our customers from potential cyber security risks. As a company working with both automotive and non-automotive customers, we take the continuous threat of cyber-attacks seriously. Last year alone, there were a high number of reported security breaches affecting many businesses across the UK.

Cyber Essentials certification provides independent verification that we have the necessary systems in place to protect against a wide variety of common cyber-attacks. This is an ongoing process, and our IT security controls are continuously reviewed to monitor the level of our cyber security. Our aim to is reassure all stakeholders that we are working hard to mitigate the risk of cyber-attacks and protect our customers.
