Diametric has strengthened its team with a new hire and the promotion of a key member of staff. Anso Dietrichsen has been promoted to marketing executive after four years at Diametric. Anso previously held the roles of account coordinator and assembly coordinator, which has given her a comprehensive knowledge of the manufacturing process complete and puts her in an excellent position to market Diametric’s services to new and existing clients. Anso will now take responsibility for brand management and protecting Diametric’s corporate identity.

Many are smaller, specialist and niche manufacturers, but many are also leading edge and world-beaters.” This was the message from The Business Magazine publisher David Murray welcoming guests to the first Southern Manufacturing 100 dinner, held on February 11 at Oakley Hall Hotel, near Basingstoke.
A jump in demand has helped Britain’s manufacturing businesses to a brighter start than expected in 2016, according to a recent survey. The Markit/CIPS Purchasing Managers’ Index rose to a three-month high of 52.9 in January, up from 52.1 in December, beating forecast for a reading of 51.8. The latest PMI showed factories in the UK increased output at the quickest rate since June 2014, led by consumer and investment goods producers. Markit said UK manufacturing production increased again during January thanks to improved inflows of new work from the domestic market, led by big manufacturers…
