ABOUT THE PROJECT
MUOV Bikes turned to Diametric for labelling their latest bike frames. Having worked with us previously at McLaren Automotive, our contact at MUOV was already familiar with our precision, reliability, and commitment to excellence.
MUOV needed a set of five asset and model labels, serialised with a QR code. They had a clear vision of the labels’ appearance but required our guidance on translating their concept into a production-ready design.
Our team held an initial consultation to refine the sizing, application method, and durability requirements. The labels had to be thin enough to wrap around the bike frame seamlessly while withstanding exposure to cleaning chemicals and sweat. With intricate details and small text, ensuring exceptional clarity was a top priority.
To meet these specifications, we utilised our advanced Mimaki CJV30 Digital Printer. This enabled us to achieve a high-resolution print onto our chosen specialised material, ensuring durability and precision in every detail. Learn more about our digital printing investment.
Shaun Kara, Diametric’s Technical Sales Manager, recommended a high-tack digital vinyl with a protective laminate for enhanced durability. We provided material samples to MUOV to ensure the perfect fit, allowing MUOV to test the adhesion and flexibility on their bike frames. Once approved, we swiftly moved into production.
With a tight deadline, we ensured a seamless process from artwork approval to full manufacturing and delivery—all completed within just nine working days, with regular progress updates along the way.
