Diametric has been providing the essential finishing touches to Hasselblad's products since 2009.
The working relationship began when the prestigious camera manufacturer instigated a search for a supplier that could provide badges and labels that reflected the high quality of its products.
Having been recommended by Fuji Film, Hasselblad tasked Diametric with creating the badges for its new H4D range of cameras.
The key factors that needed to be considered were the placement of the badge on the product and the quality of finish. As Hasselblad's cameras are of the highest quality, the company needed a badge that would reflect this high standard. In addition, the badge needed to be placed on a recessed area of the camera so it had to stand out in order to make an impact.
Taking into account all of Hasselblad's needs, Diametric's expert team recommended an alloy die cast badge. This technique ensured Hasselblad's intricate logo font was replicated with ultimate quality and precision, reflecting the quality of the H4D range itself. In addition, the solid alloy material ensured a durable badge that would not fade or become damaged over time.
These badges now sit on thousands of Hasselblad's cameras, which are used by some of the best professional photographers in the world.
Diametric continues to work closely with Hasselblad and often visits its head office in Sweden to discuss new products and advise on the best badging solutions.
